Something about this time of year just makes you want to clean things up a bit.
You open the garage, start moving stuff around, and then realize how much has actually piled up. We had one of those “how did we end up with all this?” moments the other weekend.
At a certain point, you just want it gone so you can actually enjoy the space again.
We ended up calling Trinity Junk Removal like we’ve done before, and it was one of those “should’ve done this sooner” situations.
Anyway… if you’ve been staring at a pile like that lately, you’re not the only one.

If you’ve got older kids, you already know… it actually gets harder to find things they’re excited about.
The little kid events don’t hit the same anymore, and most weekends turn into “what do you guys want to do?” with no real answer.
This is one of those events that usually lands.
It’s not just something to walk around… it’s loud, it’s high energy, and there’s actually something going on the whole time. Bull riding, rodeo events, live music, food, the whole setup. It gives them something to watch, react to, and be part of instead of just tagging along.
And honestly, it’s one of those rare ones where both sides enjoy it. Kids stay engaged, and parents aren’t checking the clock every 20 minutes.
If you’re trying to get everyone out of the house this weekend, this is a solid move.

Stand-up comedy night supporting local causes and a great excuse to get out for a few laughs midweek. I’ve been following and supporting Sunni Moreno’s run for Honorary Mayor, and it’s always good to see the community rally around people like this. That’s one thing this area does really well.
Shoutout to Voodoo Brewing Co. for hosting and always putting on a good atmosphere for nights like this.
