The big one this weekend. Hundreds of classic cars and trucks take over McCall Park, 3 to 8pm, totally free. Vendors, food, and a DJ spinning 50s through 70s all afternoon. Bring the kids, bring your camera, bring your own ride if you've got something worth showing off.

🦈 SharkCon 12 — Saturday & Sunday, Florida State Fairgrounds
Sharks, experts, conservationists, vendors, and enough for the kids to burn a whole day. Indoors and air conditioned, which makes it a perfect Sunday move when the rain rolls in.

🎸 Lynyrd Skynyrd with Loverboy — Saturday, 6:30pm, MIDFLORIDA Amphitheatre
Free Bird under the Florida sky. Loverboy opens with "Working for the Weekend," which is frankly perfect programming for a Saturday night. Tickets from around $38. Somebody in your section will scream the request before the encore. It's coming anyway.

Bayberry Glen Drive is closed at FishHawk Boulevard all weekend, through 6am Monday. Crews are pulling pipe under Little FishHawk Creek.
Good news: everything on that road is still open. Starbucks, the dentists, Women's Care, all of it. You just reach them from Hammock Crossing Drive or FishHawk Crossing Boulevard instead. The road to your coffee is closed. The coffee is not. Go around and get it anyway.
