🍹Sangria Night at Keel Farms | Plant City | May 1 | More

If you're looking for a reason to get out this Friday, here it is.

Keel and Curley Winery hosts Sangria Night every first Friday of the month, and May 1 is the next one. Doors open at 5pm and the party runs until 10pm. Think live Latin music, dancing under the lights, and handcrafted sangria flights on the farm. No tickets, no reservations. Just show up ready to have a good time.

It's the kind of night that turns into a favorite tradition. The setting at Keel Farms is unlike anything else in the area, and with free admission and free parking, there's really no reason not to go.

Ice machines are one of those things nobody thinks about until a health inspector does. If you run a restaurant, café, or any foodservice operation, the ice your customers get is only as clean as the machine making it.

Clean Ice LLC focuses on one thing: commercial ice machine cleaning, done right. Using FDA-recommended methods, they go after the mold, bacteria, and mineral scale that quietly accumulate and create real health code exposure. Depending on the condition of the equipment, service runs from a quick 1-2 hour sanitization to a 4-6+ hour deep clean for machines that have been neglected. They also offer preventive maintenance plans so it doesn't have to be a reactive call every time.

They serve small businesses, commercial kitchens, and cafés throughout Hillsborough County. If your ice machine hasn't been professionally cleaned recently, it probably needs it. Reach them at (786) 933-5947 or visit cleanyourice.com

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital broke ground this month on a brand new freestanding emergency room at 12910 Boyette Road in Riverview. The 13,000 square foot facility is a $19 million investment and sits on the old Ace Golf driving range that locals have watched sit vacant for a while now.

For anyone living along the Boyette corridor, whether that's Riverview, Lithia or Fishhawk, this is the kind of infrastructure that quietly makes your neighborhood more attractive to buyers. Proximity to emergency care is something homebuyers ask about, and that answer just got a lot better for South County.

It's also worth reading between the lines a little. When a hospital system drops $19 million on a piece of land in your backyard, they're betting on continued growth in that area. HCA doesn't build freestanding ERs in places they don't expect to be busy.

Groundbreaking happened April 1st. No opening date announced yet, but we'll keep you posted.

Thanks for reading. See you Friday!
