Action Karate in Valrico serves kids starting at age 3 all the way through adults, with classes six days a week at River Hills Plaza. They teach traditional karate, but what parents in the community keep saying is that it's the confidence, focus, and discipline that really stick.
And this month they're doing something worth knowing about. Any new student who enrolls in June gets their dad trained for free the entire month. Family classes run Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so dads and kids are on the mat at the same time. No splitting up, no separate schedules.

Sassy Cat Club Café in Brandon is exactly what it sounds like, a café where you can grab a drink or a treat and spend time with a room full of cats and kittens. It's a partnership with A Kitten Place Rescue, so most of the cats are available for adoption. If you fall in love, you can complete the whole process right there on the spot.
