Hello 👋 I’m John Plumstead.

I grew up in Michigan and went to West Point. Over a 14-year Army career, my family moved 10 times. Out of every place we lived, we chose East of Tampa. We still love it here.

I’ve done real estate here for years, residential and commercial alike, more than 100 deals total.

East of Tampa is more than a newsletter. It covers local news for FishHawk, Lithia, Valrico, Riverview, Brandon, Plant City, Ruskin, Wimauma, and Apollo Beach, and it helps the businesses in those communities get in front of their neighbors.

Outside of work, I’m happily married to my wife Danielle. We have four sons, and they’re where most of my time goes when I’m not working. I’m still involved with FishHawk Spartans football too.
